Concealed Carry Resources > Resources for current CPL Holders > Resources for Traveling

Traveling by Car -

Be sure the state of origin and destination is legal; in any states in between that do not honor your CPL you must unload and case  your firearm so it is not easily accesible to you or other passengers (put in trunk).

Traveling by Plane -

Check with your airlines, you must DECLARE your firearm and check-in and secure in "check-in" luggage.

Traveling by Train or Bus -

Similar to the above CAR/Plane, check with your transportation company first.

Traveling out of the Country -

Generally not allowed, but you need both exportation from the U.S. and compliance with any country laws your travelling to.  BE CAREFUL AS ANY MISTAKE CAN LAND YOU IN A FOREIGN PRISON.
